XSLdoc Documentation

How This Document Is Organized

This document has pages corresponding to the items in the navigation bar, described as follows. The Link "FRAMES NOFRAMES" show or hide the HTML frames. All pages are available with or without frames.

Overview

The Overview page is the front page of this document and provides a list of all directories contained. This page can also contain an overall description of the set of directories.

Directory

Each directory has a page that contains a list of its stylesheets. It can also contain a description of the stylesheets contained.

Stylesheet

Each stylesheet has its own separate page. Each of these pages has three sections

  1. the stylesheet description containing overviews of the following top-level XSLT elements if present in the XSLT stylesheet
    • xsl:stylesheet or xsl:transform
    • xsl:import
    • xsl:include
    • xsl:output
    • xsl:namespace-alias
    • xsl:preserve-space
    • xsl:strip-space
  2. summary tables for the top-level XSLT elements
    • xsl:param
    • xsl:variable
    • xsl:decimal-format
    • xsl:key
    • xsl:attribute-set
    • xsl:template
  3. detailed descriptions for all elements of the summary tables (see 2.)

The summary entries are alphabetical, while the detailed descriptions are in the order they appear in the source code. This preserves the logical groupings established by the programmer.

Tree (Stylesheet Hierarchy)

There is a Stylesheet Hierarchy page for all directories, plus a hierarchy for each directory. Each hierarchy page contains a list of stylesheets.

  • When viewing the Overview page, clicking on "Tree" displays the hierarchy for all directories.
  • When viewing a particular directory or stylesheet page, clicking "Tree" displays the hierarchy for only that directory.

Index

The Index contains an alphabetical list of all stylesheets, templates, params, variables, decimal-keys, keys and attribute-sets.
